Attached is this months IAM insight
The IAM have started a new initiative for 2013 with the objective of getting existing members to encourage others to have their road skills assessed. This will take the form of a voucher to be included in some annual renewal packs:
Initially, we intend to approach this slightly differently by inviting anyone responding to a group ride out. We can then ensure they are given a warm welcome and have an Observer allocated to assess their skill levels. If on the other hand the respondent would prefer a one-to-one session, this can be arranged.
We always encourage existing members to recommend Skills for Life to others but, if you do get one of these vouchers in the future please make an extra effort to pass it on!
Pauline Simms has volunteered to lead the September Sunday ride out ob the 15th September.
This has been added to the group calendar and ride out page.
Further details of the destination will be published nearer the time.
