A reminder to all members, observers and associates of the slow riding workshop to be held on Sunday 29th May at Knaresborough Technology Park, Manse Lane, Knaresborough HG5 8LF from 9:00 – 12:00 hrs (approx). Everyone welcome.
One alert, however, is that the cafe cannot provide its usual service for us that day as there are no staff able to help during the bank holiday weekend. Our friend Barry Halverson is making his kettle available for us to use at the HQ of his training school on the site so we will be able to serve a drink but it might be wise to bring your own snack to keep yourself going during the morning. The petrol station on Manse Lane also has a vending machine.

Your Bike Group Needs You – July 17th Sunday Ride Out Ride Leader
At the moment, we have no ride leader for our July Sunday Group Ride. These ride outs form the key social riding events of the club’s programme, and many of us will be disappointed if the ride does not take place.
If you are a full member of Harrogate Advanced Bikes please consider leading the July ride – a chance to take friends down some of your favourite roads and to friendly refreshment stops.
Do please give some serious thought to leading our July ride – contact Andrew to volunteer, or for more information andrewpratt12@yahoo.co.uk
Subject : Trip to Spain & France
Roy Beniston & I are doing a trip to Spain & France between 3rd-11th July. If a couple of other riders want to come with us we would be happy to have them along.
Anyone interested contact me for details at bazza100@hotmail.com.
Thanks Barry

All club members are warmly invited. The session is essential practice for associates preparing for the Skills for Life Assessment but aims to build confidence for riders of every level of experience.
I look forward to seeing you there.

Unless anyone else wishes to volunteer, Bob Hill is happy to do a chip shop run.
Dragon Road Car Park for a 7:00 prompt start.
Tom Tom Rider V2 Full well looked after working kit excluding headset.
UK & Full European Maps updated summer 2015. Treated myself to new 400 model but beginning to wonder why, this stuff works perfectly fine. Anyway it’s got to go. Offers from HAB riders invited before it goes on Ebay.

Members and Associates are reminded that the Slow Riding Workshop scheduled for Sunday 24th April has had to be postponed. This is due to our friends at A2B Motorcycle Training not working at the site that day. A2B store all our equipment for slow riding and also provide the essential toilet facilities.
The provisional rearranged date is Sunday 29th May at the Knaresborough Technology Park. This has yet to be finally confirmed with the car park owners.
I am conscious that this is a date during the bank holiday weekend. If that means you would not be able to come and you had hoped to do so, please email me because it would not be worthwhile to proceed on a date that was generally inconvenient or unpopular.
A final notification will be posted in due course.
With best wishes
