We’ve had a great summer so far this year but frankly we could do with some rain soon. The upside for motorcycling it’s been great to enjoy our motorcycle riding around the North of the UK and further afield.
The Ride Leader for Wednesday 2nd September has had to drop out so we could do with a Full HAB member volunteering to take up the reins on that one. If you haven’t lead a group ride before and want to give it a try have a look at the Ride Leader guidelines on the club website and get in touch on the number below:
Even for experienced Ride Leader’s it’s worth having a re-read from time to time. The other side of the coin is of course the TEC or Tail-End-Charlie keeping the ride moving along safely and smoothly at the rear. There is plentiful reference to the TEC in the guidelines and indeed should be necessary reading for all HAB members taking part in club group ride outs.
