The ride on Sunday 20th September will be The Forest of Bowland Loop (reverse) starting and at the Robertshaw’s Café at Skipton, 10am for breakfast till 11am, pre ride out briefing consisting of ride route, stops and objectives. These objectives will be, but not limited to, “The Bubble”, what is it and why is it important to motorcyclists,” Mirrors”, why we use them prior to entering and leaving speed changes and Observation, where to look and why.
We will stop several times to discuss the last section of riding for thoughts/comments on our riding, being able to do self-analysis and an honest assessment with yourself is a major element of Advanced riding. The old adage of use it or lose it is very prevalent to Advanced riding, sometimes we need to remind ourselves of the basics, this ride is aimed at being one of those reminders.
