Only a couple of short months now and HAB’s Sunday ride-outs will start again for the 2014 season!

As usual Sunday rides will take place on the 3rd Sunday of each month starting Sunday March 16th. PLEASE NOTE: as the 3rd Sunday in April falls on Easter Sunday, April’s ride will take place A WEEK EARLIER on Sunday April 13th.

Please make a note in your diaries now.

Anyone interested in leading a ride should contact Andrew Pratt at andrewpratt12@yahoo.co.uk as soon as possible.

Route details will be published on the website as soon as these become available.

The IAM are running a Skills Day at the Croft circuit, West Lane, Dalton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire DL2 2PL on Thursday 8 May.

The day will run from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and consist of at least 6 x 20 minute “on track” sessions with class room sessions in between.Track time will be limited to 4 delegates plus 1 instructor.

Availability is limited so anyone interested should contact Dave Stringer at avid.stringerrgc@iam.org.uk as soon as possible.

At the AGM in March we will be electing someone to the post of Deputy Chairman.

Invite to IAM meeting: guest speaker Pat doughty and Toby Shaw

Hello & Happy New Year to you all

I am inviting you, your committee and members to our next social evening on Monday 3rd February at 8pm when our guest speaker is to be Pat Doughty from Chiswick. He will be talking about ,the IAM group of companies, Skill for Life sales and duration to prepare an associate, IMI national Observer update and the future of the IAM with regard to Expertise and standards and group Integration.

Toby Shaw the new region manager will also be in attendance so it will be an ideal time to put a face to the name and find out what he’s about.

The meetings are held at the Constitutional Club, St Pauls Road, Mirfield, WF14  8AX. (Sat nav ref: 14a)

Directions
You turn into St Pauls road off the main road opposite a large lighting shop at the traffic lights in Mirfield. Up the narrow street twenty yards on your right there are some domestic garages turn Right immediately before them into club car park. Car park will probably be full at the front so drive around the building and there is a large car park at the rear. For  your information there is a door at the rear giving access to the building (it’s at the base of the fire escape) and apart form that one step the rest is on the level in case there are members who have any disabilities.  The room we will probably be in, is just after the bar.

Hi All

A friend of mine is looking to sell his underused Honda NT650V. Lovely looking Deauville with very few miles on it. Very genuine owner & bike. His words: “Y Reg. First reg. 09.07.2001 by Honda UK. The bike has been in my possession since 07.08.2001. MOT until August 30th. 2014. Mileage 13,441. Extras: high screen, large pannier lids, hand guards, bottom fairing. The bike is fitted with a Garmin Sat. Nav. mounting – the Garmin head can come with it as an extra price. Original screen and pannier lids are included. The DRL led’s are not included. I am looking for £2000”.
