ROOSKI RIDERS Mongolia/Siberia Adventure 2014 – Monday 13th April at BCC

Don’t forget that the monthly evening ride outs this year don’t start until the second Monday in May (May 11th).

For this coming Monday, April 13th, we are lucky to once again welcome Paul Mercer along with Geoff, Frank and Dave to talk about their epic journey last year across Europe and Russia and into Mongolia on Honda Dominators.

There will be a talk and video followed by a question and answer session.

Club Weekday Ride Out – Tuesday 7th April

Weekday ride outs are now being organised for the First Tuesday and Third Thursday of each month with the first scheduled for next Tuesday 7th April:
Meet North Street Deli in Wetherby (29 North Street) from 10.00 for 10.00am prompt start.
Shortish circular ride to Rievaulx Abbey for lunch returning to Morrisons in Boroughbridge.
About 110 miles: North to Walsford > Aldward Bridge > Outskirts of Easingwold > Byland Abbey > White Horse, Kilburn > Rievaulx. B1257 to Stokesley > Northallerton > Busby Stoop > Boroughbridge

Roy’s ‘Mid-Summer Ride Away’ to Northern Germany

Roy Beniston is organising a weekend away trip to northern Germany in July, visiting Dusseldorf & Cologne.

This is a brief overview of the trip:

Friday 17th July
DFDS overnight ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam, departing 5.00pm.

Saturday 18th July
Ride down to Cologne for overnight stop in hotel close to the Old Town and Cathedral.

Sunday 19th July
Ride back to Dusseldorf for another overnight stay

Monday 20th July
Ride back to the ferry port.

Tuesday 21st July
Ferry docks in Newcastle at approximately 9.00am

Roy has German friends who will join the group in Dusseldorf and Cologne so a couple of good night outs are guaranteed!

Please note: Roy will provide details of ferry’s, hotels, routes, costs etc. but it will be up to individuals to make their own bookings.
