If you missed Mark at our own meeting earlier this month you may wish to catch up with the latest on IAM standards by going along. Details are:

Date: Tues 17 March, from 7.00pm
Venue: The Reading Room, Dunnington Library, Dunnington, York YO19 5PW.
There is a small car park to the rear and on-street parking nearby.

If you don’t want to sit through the AGM, seating will be available for those arriving just for the talk.

If you would like to go, please drop me a note at david.haywood@mac.com so I can inform YAM how many to expect.

HAB Stand at Allan Jefferies Open Day – this Saturday, February 7th

Allan Jefferies Motorcycles in Shipley have very kindly offered the club a corner of their showroom this coming Saturday to promote HAB and IAM Skills for Life.

The event is Jefferies Open Day where they’ll be showing the full 2015 range of BMW’s. Even if you’re not a BMW rider the Open Day is always worth a trip to Shipley for a look around and to meet other bikers.

A number of HAB Observers have already agreed to ‘man the stand’ for a period during the day and we encourage all members to come along and support the club (unfortunately I’m going to miss it as I’ll still be away!).

Thanks, David.

Ardenne & Eifel Aventures

If you’re looking for motorcycle trips away that are a little bit different you could do a lot worse than looking at these. Apart from accommodation various activities are offered including intensive courses at the Nurburgring, Trackdays at Spa Francorchamps, Best Biking Roads in the Ardennes region etc.

Monthly Ride Out Dates for 2015

Only a couple of months to go and we’ll be into the ride out season again! The pdf below gives you all ride out dates for your diary.

As you will see, we still need leaders for the months of May, June, July and August. Why not give it a go and treat everyone to your favourite route? It would be good to have some new people volunteering!

If you’re interested, please send an email to Andrew Pratt, the Ride Out co-ordinator giving an outline of the route and your preferred date/s.
Andrew’s address is:

Thanks!
