Chaz Davies is a world champion motorbike racer. But amazingly he only passed his road test this summer. Now he’s taking further training with a bunch of regular bikers and one of his biggest fans – comedian Alan Davies. See what happens when the racing hero goes to road school.

A reminder that there is no normal Sunday ride out this month as it’s Barry Ring’s Wales Weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

Looking forward to meeting up with all those going to Wales in the main group on Saturday morning – 8.30 am at Wetherby Services on the A1 for a 9.00 am start.

This is a reminder that we will NOT be meeting in Harrogate this coming Monday evening, 8th September. Instead, everyone is invited to an informal get together at Squires Cafe Bar, Newthorpe Lane, South Milford, Leeds LS25 5LX (i.e. Squires Cafe, Sherburn).

Hope many of you can make it and looking forward to seeing you there.

Mike Fourie has made a provisional booking at Luigi’s in Harrogate for the annual club dinner on Saturday 17th January 2015, 7.30 for 8.00 pm.

Cost will be approx. £25 per head (to be confirmed)

As usual there will be a Raffle in support of Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
