Just a reminder for this evening’s meeting with a demonstration from Bike Seal, puncture repair specialists due to start at the earlier time of 7.15pm.
Mike Fourie has also asked if HAB members intending coming to the “Not the Christmas Dinner” on February 8th check their diaries and please kindly bring their cheque books or even cash to pay so he can get the numbers booked with the Old Spring Well.
At our evening meeting next Monday 11th November we have been fortunate enough to have a presentation by Dale from ‘BikeSeal’, the puncture prevention and repair specialists.
This promises to be a very interesting and interactive event. Dale not only intends to show and demonstrate his products but give us a chance to use them on wheels he will bring. This will be a great experience for those of us who have never done this before and maybe lack the confidence to do it. He has asked that we bring along any repair/inflation systems we may have to promote greater debate. We have invited our fellow IAM members from the neighbouring York Advanced Motorcyclists to join us for the evening. Please make every effort to attend to do justice to our speaker’s commitment.
PLEASE NOTE – To allow ample time for Dales presentation the meeting will start earlier at 7.15 PM.
Don’t forget, if you have not already done so, to continue to receive posts from HAB, please use the new “Subscribe to our emails” on the right hand side of the webpage.
John Thompson has invited us to join a coach party to the Bike Show at the NEC on Thursday 21st November. He has nine biking mates going, with the possibility of a 24 or 33 seat coach. The cost of the coach will be £20-£25 each, plus parking & maybe a tip and of course there will be your entry fee for the show. I’m hoping to go, but more details will follow after we see who else is.
It would be great to get together on the day, see the new metal and have some fun seeing the various events at the show. Please get in touch as soon as you can if you are interested & are able to go on that day.

I know this is short notice but I have a pair of weekend tickets for this weekends BSB final round At Brands Hatch Including start straight grandstand tickets for both days. I’ve had issues with my hip and it was operated on this week so not well enough to go. They are electronic printable so easy to send. I’m happy to take a voluntary donation as they would only go to waste. Email me at pjd0568@gmail.com. First come first served.

Arranged by John Blanchfield, Tom Killeen from i2i Motorcycle Academy has kindly agreed to present the amazing training his team can offer to dispel myths around how your motorcycle stays upright. I’ve been on “Machine Control One” and I can confirm, it is amazing. Have a look at the links below.
