Dear Members,

Our club meeting is next Monday the 9th of November and we will have an open forum, also partly with a social aspect. For new HAB members the venue is Bilton Cricket Club, Bilton Lane Harrogate, HG1 3DQ – 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

You will have seen from a previous post that our Self-Development rides will continue on Saturday mornings and hopefully monthly, after the first very successful one. From the theme of the one this coming Saturday, it is hoped that members will participate in the Monday Meeting open forum on how, good advanced observation leads to making progress, what that phrase means and what it should look like on the road. I hope to see as many of you as possible there.

Looking further ahead, our December 14th meeting will be the Christmas Quiz, to which you and your partners, wives or husbands are cordially invited. It will have a general knowledge theme, as last year’s. It will be a lot of fun and food will be provided in the form of a hot buffet and dessert. However, to defray costs a little, the committee is asking that we make a contribution of £5 per person. Let’s make it a memorable occasion!

Best wishes

Richard Stembrowicz
